Description:
York’s Print Services (PS) Department is seeking to engage trade printers to provide quality printing and associated bindery and other graphic services at a competitive rate. As the types of projects vary, PS will manage the aspects of the production process from a roster of prequalified trade printer(s). The purpose of this Request for Supplier Prequalification is to solicit information about you firm’s experience, qualifications, capabilities, and methods. The objective is to prequalify up to eight (8) Trade Printers to be included in a roster of Vendors of Record (“VORs”). The prequalified VORs will be eligible to respond to second stage quotation requests on subsequent Print Shop jobs.
York will only consider Proposal submissions received from Proponents who have registered with MERX (www.MERX.com) for this competitive bid. Proposal submissions from Proponents who have not registered and obtained this Bid Document directly from MERX will be disqualified.

Delivery Date:
Tentative Agreement start date is August 21, 2024.
Duration of Agreement:
The roster will remain in effect for a period of three (3) years. New Proponents will not be permitted to apply to be added to the list.

Negotiation:
York reserves the right in its sole discretion to negotiate modifications to any Proposal received without becoming obligated to offer to negotiate with any other Proponent(s).
Supplier Prequalification:
- The criteria that will be used to prequalify the suppliers is available within the tender document.
- Only the suppliers on the prequalified list will receive further notices of procurement covered by the list.
- The roster will remain in effect for a period of three (3) years. Further requests for suppliers to apply for inclusion on this list will not be published.
