Description:
York is inviting qualified Proponents to provide third-party security services.
All requests for staffing that take place on York University premises will be at the request of The Department of Community Safety, and those authorized to request third party security with the consent of The Department of Community Safety.
All third-party security services conducting residential monitoring we be on a requested basis throughout the effective period of the contract. There is no guarantee as to the requirement for staffing during non-peak periods that maybe required under the terms of the contract.
All third-party security services occurring on York University owned properties, including but are not limited to Keele, Glendon and or Markham campuses in graduate and undergraduate residences.
York will only consider Proposal submissions received from Proponents who have registered with MERX (www.MERX.com) for this competitive bid. Proposal submissions from Proponents who have not registered and obtained this Bid Document directly from MERX will be disqualified.

Delivery Date
On an as needed basis.
Duration of Agreement:
The initial term of the Agreement shall be for twenty-four (24) months, with three (3) optional twelve (12) month extensions.

Negotiation:
York reserves the right in its sole discretion to negotiate modifications to any Proposal received without becoming obligated to offer to negotiate with any other Proponent(s).
