Description:
York is inviting proposals from furniture manufacturers for Supply, Delivery, and Installation of Indoor and Outdoor Public Seating as outlined in this RFP, on an “as required” basis. York intents to create a Vendors of Records (“VOR”). It is York’s intention to enter into an agreement directly with the Manufacturers for Supply, Delivery, and Installation and Service requirements for Indoor and Outdoor Public Seating. However, if the Manufacturer works through Dealers only, then those Manufacturers shall provide a joint bid with their one preferred Dealer. All joint proposals shall provide a detailed outline of the responsibilities, services and duties as well as a primary contact person for each party. In addition, provide one approved/preferred installation company (if different from the Dealers or Manufacturer). York at its sole discretion may select the installation company and may request an alternate. Manufacturer and Dealer will jointly sign the resulting Agreement.
York will only consider Proposal submissions received from Proponents who have registered with MERX (www.MERX.com) for this competitive bid. Proposal submissions from Proponents who have not registered and obtained this Bid Document directly from MERX will be disqualified.

Duration of Agreement:
The initial term of the Agreement shall begin from the date of award for thirty-six (36) months. All prices shall be net, firm and not negotiable for the initial thirty-six (36) months

York reserves the right in its sole discretion to negotiate modifications to any Proposal received without becoming obligated to offer to negotiate with any other Proponent(s).
