Description:
York intends to select a qualified service provider to supply confined space rescue at the Keele and Glendon campus for Central Services & Building Operations. The Proponent will also provide initial training and refresher training, onsite or remotely, for York University staff. Training is normally provided in two (2) components, Confined Space awareness and Vertical Confined Space Rescue (Davit Arm and Tripod). Proponents are invited to submit a response to this RFP for the provision of all labour and materials to complete this service as requested.
York shall reserve the right to request confined space rescue by the Selected Proponent for York personnel and contractors working for York. All crew members of the Selected Proponent will be confined space certified and will comply with York University’s Confined Space Program. The crew members must have a total of 36 hours of confined space entry rescue and a semi-annual training review, as described in York University’s Confined Space Program.
York will only consider Proposal submissions received from Proponents who have registered with MERX (www.MERX.com) for this competitive bid. Proposal submissions from Proponents who have not registered and obtained this Bid Document directly from MERX will be disqualified.
