 Description:
The objectives of this RFP are to:

• Secure an adequate health plan for SCS students who are Registered in program(s);
• Secure a high level of effective and efficient benefit claims management services;
• Ensure the competitiveness of the premium cost; and
• Comply with public policy requirements.

• Maintain or exceed the current level of services to SCS students;
• Maximize the current financial arrangements; and
• Maintain and enhance quality service, administration and claims adjudication.

• Provide adequate health coverage as per Section 6.4;
• Ensure International Student access to mental health support in multiple languages including adequate ongoing psychologist coverage
• Work collaboratively with SCS Registration team members to issue policy information, cancel policies within specified timelines, extend policies as required. 
• Comply with government regulations such as OHIP and FIPPA;
• Work with SCS designated representative in dealing with a variety of health related issues;
• Process students’ claims in an efficient and effective matter; and
• Report any fraudulent claims.
• Provide a student friendly website linked from the SCS webpage explaining services, how to submit a claim, contact information etc.
• Provide in person sessions for training, marketing and promotional events.
• Provide support in emergency situations
• Optional and value add services available such as counselling and mental health services
