Description:
York is soliciting Proposals from experienced and qualified Proponents for the provision of a Career Development Centre Platform solution. The aim of the solution includes, but is not limited to:

To enable students of the Business School to interact with the Career Development Centre (“CDC”) team through an online portal;
To reduce the operational workload for the CDC around appointment booking, event operations, and recruitment initiatives;
To enable the CDC to track and manage the career journey of a student from initiation of the program, to completion, and post-graduation;
To enable the administration and management to track, report, and analyze all aspects of career-related services to better adapt to student and recruiter/industry needs;
To enable industry partners to interact with the CDC and students through external employment opportunities and events;
To be built on an extensible architecture that will be able to be extended to connect with other departments across Schulich for future programs and projects; and
Lower the complexity and support effort level for IT service at York.

York will only consider Proposal submissions received from Proponents who have registered with MERX (www.MERX.com) for this competitive bid. Proposal submissions from Proponents who have not registered and obtained this Bid Document directly from MERX will be disqualified.

This procurement is covered by Chapter 5 of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement.

Delivery Date:
From the point of contract execution, sixty (60) calendar day implementation, including training and onboarding of students and staff.

Duration of Agreement:
The initial term of the Agreement shall be for thirty-six (36) months, with two (2) optional thirty-six (36) month extensions; for a potential Term of one-hundred and eight (108) months.

Negotiation:
Following evaluation of all Proposals, it is York’s intention to enter into negotiations with the leading Proponents who offers the best overall value to York. York’s intention is to establish a roster of Proponent’s based respectively on the highest to lowest best overall value scores. York reserves the full and sole right to determine how many Proponent’s are included in the roster list.
York reserves the right in its sole discretion to negotiate modifications to any Proposal received without becoming obligated to offer to negotiate with any other Proponent(s).
