Description:
York is currently utilizing a variety of application deployment and license tracking mechanisms; including Microsoft SCCM, manual native installations and Citrix XenApp. In order to facilitate the changing computing environment including the use of York owned or non-York owned devices, York is looking for a commercial off the shelf application virtualization and delivery System that provides a user experience similar to that of a natively or locally installed application while providing a front-end interface similar to that of the latest Applications stores such as Apple, Google and Microsoft.
The deployment will consist of a Proof of Concept, Pilot, and two (2) phases of Production to York owned and non-York owned devices on multiple operating system platforms under a preferred site license model.
York will only consider Proposal submissions received from Proponents who have registered with Biddingo or MERX and have obtained the Bid Document directly from Biddingo (www.biddingo.com) or MERX (www.MERX.com) for this competitive bid. Proposal submissions from Proponents who have not registered and obtained this Bid Document directly from Biddingo or MERX will be disqualified.

Delivery Date:
Proof of Concept implementation by a tentative date of November 1, 2017
Duration of Agreement:
The initial term of the Agreement shall be for sixty (60) months, with two (2) optional twenty-four (24) month extensions; for a potential Term of one-hundred and eight (108) months.

At the end of the evaluation process, York University may identify by written notification one or more Proponents with whom it wishes to enter into negotiations with.
