Description

NOTICE OF INTENDED PROCUREMENT

This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by Wilfrid Laurier University to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Network Switches for Brantford Campus as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”). This RFP will be awarded through a consecutive, non-binding negotiation process.

The purpose of this RFP is to procure the hardware and installation services required to replace the network switches that currently provide network core services on the Laurier Brantford campus. Wilfrid Laurier University has standardized with Cisco switches based on a previous competitive process to select technology (WLU015-003).

The successful supplier would be responsible for the end-to-end solution deployment: installation of the hardware, configuration of the software according to industry best practices in order to meet the University’s needs, and deploying the solution in production. The Hardware described in this RFP must be delivered by the successful proponent by April 27, 2018 at 2:00 pm local time.

The budget for this project should not exceed $375,000.
