Background – voicemail and interactive voice response solution
Telephone Services needs to replace the current Avaya CallPilot system used currently by the majority of campus users for voicemail and for basic Interactive Voice Response (IVR) functionality. As CallPilot will be an end-of-life product in the near future, the University has deemed it a requirement to migrate to a more current solution. The proposed solution should be designed for our CallPilot voicemail users, as well as our Skype for Business users who are currently using the Exchange Unified Messaging for voicemail, which will no longer be available as of Exchange 2019. Only an on-premise solution will be considered.
An ability to provide metrics from the IVR solution of choice is required to provide reporting on the menus that we can aggregate back to our end users upon their request.
This RFP process will form the basis of selection and implementation of the final solution.
