Description

The University of Waterloo (UW) invites qualified companies to submit Proposals for Uniform and Linen Services, in accordance with the terms of this Request for Proposal (RFP). The University of Waterloo intends to select one vendor that meets or exceeds the Requirements identified in this RFP.

Uniform and Linen rentals including laundering services as follows:

Uniforms: Rental and laundering of chefs’ jackets and pants, cooks’ jackets and pants, bakers’ shirts and pants, and aprons. For this RFP there are two bid options for Uniforms:
- 1) Appendix C Option 1- Uniform Rental and Linens – (Respondent rental of Uniforms to University of Waterloo and laundering of Uniforms)
- 2) Appendix C Option 2 – Laundering of UWFS Owned Uniforms and Linens (Respondent laundering of University of Waterloo owned Uniforms)

Respondents can bid on both Option 1 and Option 2 or either Option 1 or Option 2.

Linens (Linens (A+B) are the same on both Appendix C Option1 and Option 2):
- A) Laundering of Respondent owned table linens, bar wipes, and supply of laundry bags.

B) Laundering of owned University of Waterloo inventory of bed linens- Summer Accommodation program (single-bed flat sheets, pillow slips, mattress covers and blankets), towels and face cloths for our summer accommodations business. Volume can fluctuate extensively depending on the number of hotel rooms used and events occurring on campus during any given week. All Respondents are to bid on Linens; the same option is on both Appendix C documents.

Your submission must be uploaded, submitted, and finalized prior to the Submission Deadline of October 5,2020 at 2:30 PM EST. We strongly recommend that you give yourself sufficient time and at least ONE (1) day before Closing Time to begin the uploading process and to finalize your submission. Bonfire will shut down at the Closing Time of 2:30 pm on the closing day even if you are midway through an upload. Do not leave your upload to the last day/minute. Do not submit your documents in Merx.
