Description

The University of Waterloo invites qualified companies to submit Proposals for Security Guard Services, in accordance with the terms of this Request for Proposal (RFP). The University of Waterloo intends to select one service provider that meets or exceeds the requirements identified in this RFP. The service provider will provide security guard services at various on- and off-campus buildings. The University intends to establish a two-year contract, with the option to renew for two additional one-year terms. The contract will begin on Thursday, February 1st, 2018.

SITE TOUR---there is a MANDATORY site tour scheduled for 9:00 a.m. sharp on Tuesday, November 21st, 2017 (note that in the event of inclement weather, the site tour will occur on Wednesday, November 22nd instead). Respondents are to meet at uWaterloo Police Services, Commissary Building (COM), on the main university campus. All interested parties are required to attend the site tour to familiarize themselves with the locations and working conditions; failure of a Respondent to attend the site tour will result in the rejection of any proposal submission by that Respondent.
