RFQ 19-019 - LG - Project Development Consultant for Statistics and Actuarial Science

The Project Development Consultant (Consultant) will work under the Chair, Department of Statistics and Actuarial Science and will act as a chief advisor to the project design team (Chair, Department of Statistics and Actuarial Science, Project Director, Chief Advisor, Field Director and Project Officer). The incumbent will join the design team, on a two week field mission to Indonesia and meet with various stakeholders, within government, academia, industry and potential donors, in the efforts of collecting information and data from in person interviews that will be analyzed and organized for a project proposal that will be submitted to Global Affairs Canada and other donors (World Bank, Asian Development Bank and Australia Aid).
The Consultant will also work towards the full project proposal development and will work with the Project Director and Project Officer at a high-level capacity to provide advice on the necessary content development that is required for a successful application.
The Department of Statistics and Actuarial Science has allocated a budget of $21,000.
