Executive search consultants are normally engaged by the University of Waterloo to assist in the recruitment of the president, vice-presidents and deans, though on occasion they have been engaged to assist with senior level staff positions.

It is our intention to evaluate all responses to this solicitation, with the goal to select a “short list pool” of potential firms with a range of expertise and experience, each able to act quickly when the need arises. It is our intent, although not a guarantee, that the University of Waterloo will go to only those on the short list for its recruitment requirements for a three (3) year period.
Once this list is established, future search requests will be forwarded to the “key contact” with a response required within five (5) business days. Subsequent terms and conditions will be consistent with those provided in this document, and the bid proposal received in response to this request
