Description

Micro and Nano-scale Transport Laboratory (MNT Lab) is located at the first floor of the Quantum-Nano Centre, QNC 1512, Waterloo Institute for Nanotechnology (WIN). The laboratory has state-of-art facilities to conduct fundamental studies related to fluid transport processes which are occurring at micro and nano-scale with applications in key areas of energy, environment monitoring, and bio-systems. Current research projects at MNT Lab can be viewed on the research page (https://uwaterloo.ca/micro-nano-scale-transport-lab/).

The custom-built microscopy system for thin film profile measurement will be placed in MNT Lab. We would like to use this custom-built microscope to measure the thin liquid films ranging from a couple of sub-nanometers to few 100 nanometers.
