Description

The University of Waterloo (UW) is seeking assessment of the feasibility of launching a program that produces evidence gap maps for specific United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The successful bidder(s) to RFQ 20-025 will (1) provide a description of the evidence map concept and its applications, (2) produce a conceptual model of an evidence map approach that would support the advancement of SDG Goal 14, Life Below Water in Canada, (3) develop briefing material suitable for use in describing the concept and its utilities to potential evidence map contributors and users, and (4) a recommendation as to whether SDSN Canada should pursue the evidence map concept and, if so, what a reasonable program of work and investment level for doing so would entail. We expect to spend approximately $5000 for this work. There is the possibility of a second phase of work.
