Description

This Request for Quote (“RFQ”) is an invitation to prospective Proponents to submit Quotes for the provision of Signal Analyzer, including installation and on-site training.

The proposed research aims to build a broadband chaotic laser with a suppressed time delay signature, which will be realized, for the first time, by random distributed optical feedback through our proposed random fiber grating. The proposed technique will effectively eliminate the temporal predictability of this chaotic source and a dual-wavelength light injection scheme will be implemented to significantly enhance the bandwidth for true high-speed random bit generation. The requested 50 GHz Signal Analyzer will allow precise validation of the time-signature of suppressed-broadband optical chaos.
