Description

This Request for Supplier Qualification (RFSQ) is a public invitation by the University of Ottawa to general contractors to submit proposals to be prequalified for a construction project at the University of Ottawa’s main campus. The project is a fit-up of an existing space in the Roger Guindon building to convert space to a student lounge and food services outlet.

The Project includes, but is not limited to, the following scope of Work:

New fit-up of lounge and kitchen space in Roger Guindon;
Demolition of existing architectural, electrical and mechanical elements;
New Flooring and slab preparation;
New partition, millwork, ceiling and acoustic treatment;
New mechanical, lighting and electrical work;
Coordination of the installation of the kitchen equipment (supply by the University).

Completed and signed No Conviction of Fraud Declaration - Appendix C
Completed and signed Conflict of Interest, Ethical Conduct And Disclosure of Information Declaration - Appendix D
Provide a copy of Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) Coverage
Insurance Certificate or a letter from an insurance broker conﬁrming that the Proponent will provide the required insurance (refer to Appendix E Part 11–Insurance and Contract Security
Letter from Surety Company confirming it is willing to provide the necessary bid bond (10%) and Performance bond (50%) Labour and Material bond (50%). For this purpose consider the construction value to be $1,500,000 (+/- 25%)
