Description

The University of Ottawa is seeking a Building Envelope consultant to act as Prime Consultant for a program of roofing replacements. The winning bidder will be requjired to sign a service contract per the attached template. The requirement is to produce a feasibility report and business case for the replacement of conventional roofing or provide a green roof option. The prime consultant will then create the design documents and oversee the construction of the three roofs in the summer of 2020.
A mandatory bidder's briefing and job showing is scheduled for August 29, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Advanced Research Complex in Room 349. Bidders are expected to bid on the fesibility study for all three buildings and also bid on the design and construction oversight, assuming the green roof option is adopted. Physical bids are due before 3:00:00 p.m. on Thursday September 12, 2019 at 139 Louis-Pasteur, Room 274. Bid requirements include WSIB clearance and insurance of $2M.
