Description

The University of Ottawa is seeking to select a custom air handling unit to modernize the systems in the Montpetit Hall pool building. The winning proposal will receive a Letter of Intent that their product will be specified in a future Tender process for General Contractors.

The Project includes, but is not limited to, the following scope of Work:
1. Supply and delivery of pool air handling unit as specified to the Montpetit Hall site at
the University of Ottawa.
2. Start-Up of the pool air handling unit.
3. and any other work required to complete this Project as specified in the POOL AIR
HANDLING UNIT tender documents.

Submissions will be evaluated using a two-stage procedure.
Only the technical submissions from all submitters will be opened and evaluated.
Each technical submission will be given a point score by the University evaluation team
ranging from 0 to 70. See the accompanying Evaluation Matrix.
Bidders are required to complete the sections of the Evaluation Matrix designated for
bidders to complete.
Only technical submissions with a point score of 49 points or greater will be considered
technically compliant and only those submissions will have their price envelopes
opened.
All unopened price envelopes will be returned to the respective bidders.
Pricing will be evaluated by ranking prices. The low bidder will be scored 30 points and
all other bidders will be ranked and assigned a ratio of 30 points from low bidder based
on a percentage.

There is no scheduled bidder's briefing. Proposals are due before 3:00:00 p.m. on Thursday July 25, 2019.
