2021015-RFP - Online Donation Solution

This Request for Proposal (“RFP”) is an invitation by the University of Ottawa (“University”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for an Online Donation Solution as further described in Appendix D (RFP Particulars) Section A (the Deliverables).
As the University has limited technical resources to build this type of project, we are seeking an ‘out of the box’ SaaS solution that provides ample features for configuration rather than customization of the base product.
The University is seeking proposal submissions for replacing the current outdated online donation solution and lowering the complexity and effort-level to maintain and enhance it. According to industry research, the experience of the donation form is the single most important predictor of the solicitation outcome. From a new platform, the expected benefits are a lower donor abandonment rate and a substantial increase in revenues, as well as in the number of gifts and donors.
The current online donation solution offers a poor user experience for both potential donors (who end up not giving because they are frustrated with the experience) and internal University users (who struggle with resource-heavy maintenance, deployment, lack of flexibility, system instability, and lack of functionalities).
