Description

The University of Ottawa (“University”) has issued this Request for Proposal (“RFP”) to solicit proposals from qualified and experienced Manufacturers (“Proponents”) that can propose solutions to the University of Ottawa’s Key Management needs.

Project Objectives:

Modernize Key management system to support greater operational flexibility without compromising security.
Automate key transactions while preventing unauthorized access and loss of keys.
Track key access by time and users to increase visibility and knowledge around key use and infractions.
Provide an integrated system that can function within the requirements/constraints of uOttawa IT services.
Ensure system installed satisfies the current needs and has capabilities to be scaled to satisfy future requirements.

Event Note

It is mandatory that the Proponents attend the mandatory site visit (141 Louis-Pasteur Private – outside of the main entrance).

Proponents shall meet outside of 141 Louis-Pasteur Private – main entrance, no later than the time indicated in Article 1.3 (Procurement Schedule) of the RFP.

Each Proponent is required to attend and register their attendance – registration is to be done via email to the contact listed in section 1.1 (University Contact) of the RFP, 24 hours prior to the scheduled site visit. Any Proponent arriving after the site visit has begun may not be permitted to join the group and may be disqualified. As parking is limited, Proponents are to allow sufficient time to find parking and shall consider and assume that they might not find an available parking spot on site and in time. Proponents are to also allow sufficient time to consider unforeseen traffic delays. The University will not, under any circumstances, be responsible for any incidence preventing the Proponents from attending the site visit on time.
