Notice is hereby given by the University of Ottawa of the intent to enter into a contract with Scanco USA Inc. to procure a High-Resolution Peripheral Quantitative Computed Tomography (HR-pQCT).

The equipment must conform to the following Minimum Requirements:

Equipment Specifications:

1. Must be a High-resolution peripheral quantitative CT
2. Have a CCD Detector
3. Must have an X-ray source of 60 µm spot size and 68 kVp, 100 W, cone beam. 4608 x 400 elements
4. Must have an Image resolution of ‹ 58 µm (10% MTF)
5. Must have an Image matrix of 512 x 512 to 8192 x 8192 pix
6. Pixel size must be 17 - 273 µm nominal isotropic

10. Volume Fraction
11. Cortical Thickness
12. Cortical porosity
13. Arterial calcification
