Description

The Histology Core Facility (HCF) is a full-service research histology laboratory, located in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine of the University of Ottawa. Since 1996, the HCF has served the University and the Ottawa Region being available to faculty, researchers, clinicians, and students. Currently the HCF provides histology service to over 90 researchers from the University of Ottawa (Neuroscience, CMM, and BMI) and its partners at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute (OHRI), University of Ottawa Heart Institute (UOHI), The Ottawa Hospital Cancer Centre (TOHCC), Apoptosis Group and the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO). The HCF also provides service to special projects regulated by Public Works and Health Canada contributing to the University of Ottawa's goal of excellence in research.
