BT19-29035 - Flue Gas Coil Replacement Request for Tender

The University of Ottawa is seeking mechanical contractors to act as a General Contractor, to bid on a project to replace flue gas recovery coils in the Power Plant at 720 King Edward Avenue. The bid includes the purchase of the coils and all costs associated with the delivery and installation. The lump sum bid price is to inlcude the costs of an expedited manufacture and delivery of the coils, and the Appendix B Alternates Bid Form is to stipulate the cost reduction with a normal manufacturing lead time and delivery. The mandatory job showing is scheduled for Tuesday December 3, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. Proponents are to meet at 141 Louis-Pasteur in the front lobby at that time. The winning bidder must witness the coating process at the manufacturer's site with the project consultant and a cash allowance of $5000 has been included for this task. Bids are due before 3:00:00 on Tuesday December 17, 2019 at 139 Louis-Pasteur in Room 274. Bids will be opened publically at that time.
