Description

The purpose of this Advance Contract Award Notice (ACAN) is to post the University of Ottawa’s (uOttawa) intention to enter into contractual arrangements with Ingenium Communications Inc. to provide the services identified in the requirements noted below.

This ACAN provides prospective service providers the opportunity to demonstrate that they are capable of satisfying all requirements set out in this Advance Contract Award Notice by way of submitting a Statement of Capabilities on or before the posting end date.

SCOPE OF WORK FOR PROPOSED SERVICE PROVIDER

The Executive Director of Facilities for the Universiy of Ottawa wishes to hire the services of Ingenium Communications Inc. to provide change management and communications support for a period of one year.

More specifically, the responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

1. Facilitation and Coaching:
Communications and Change Management

Change Agent Network
Voice Committee 2. Coaching at all levels of management-i.e. Vice-President, Director, Manager and Supervisor
3. Strategic counsel and planning
4. Writing/editing
5. Message development
6. Product development (e.g. presentations, updates, videos)
7. Pulse Check Survey

REQUIREMENTS

The resource assigned to this mandate from the service provider requires at a minimum:

In-depth knowledge and proven experience in planning, designing and implementing large public sector contracts and service agreements.
In-depth knowledge of the practices and methods of the University of Ottawa in terms of vision and strategy.
Proven experience and demonstrated management skills in a university context: experience in organizational development, organizational restructuring and change, program performance reviews, strategic planning and design of implementation plans.
Strong administrative writing skills for both high level and strategic documents, and for financial analyses.
Demonstrated ability to work in teams, but also to self-direct and work autonomously.
Demonstrated experience in organizing special events (conferences, symposia, training sessions etc.)
Excellent oral and written language skills in both English and French.
