Description of Procurement
This Request for Quotation (RFQ) is an invitation for prospective Proponents to submit Proposals to supply, deliver, install and provide training for audio visual (AV) equipment in room KHW-057 of Ryerson’s Kerr Hall located at 379 Victoria Street, Toronto. This room is currently being renovated to be an Active Classroom pilot project. The Deliverables are further described in Appendix B.
Ryerson intends to execute a Master Services Agreement for these Deliverables, as provided in Appendix E.
The procurement may involve negotiation.
An electronic auction is not anticipated.
Address and Final Date for Submissions
Submissions must be submitted electronically at http://ryerson.bonfirehub.ca on or before April 14, 2022, 11:00:00 a.m. Toronto Time.
The submissions will not be opened publicly.
Conditions for Participation
The procurement is subject to the following conditions for participation:

- 100 Points – Total Fixed Fee for AV Equipment and Related Services
Applicable Trade Agreements
This procurement is subject to the following trade agreement(s):
- BPS Procurement Directive;
- The Canadian Free Trade Agreement, Chapter Five;
- The Ontario-Quebec Trade and Cooperation Agreement, Chapter 9];
- Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA).
Contract Details
The term of the Final Agreement is at least one (1) year after delivery/commissioning. The warranty period for all equipment is at least one (1) year as outlined in the AV Specifications.
The current start date identified by Ryerson’s retained General Contractor for the installation of AV is June 01 2022. The installation period is roughly three (3) weeks. Ryerson understands that the lead times for AV equipment may require a schedule adjustment; however, the schedule should remain reasonable.
