Description

Toronto Metropolitan University (the “University”) is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) to schedule strategy discussions (via a conference call or video call) from interested Suppliers or Manufacturers with experience in Standardizing Task Chairs, Tables and Other Furniture.
The intent of these discussions is to obtain feedback from Manufacturers or Suppliers to assist the University in developing a more accurate Scope of Work and overall approach for the upcoming Request for Proposals (RFP) for Task Chair, Table and Other Furniture Standards.
The University firmly believes that participation will be mutually beneficial to both the Supplier/Manufacturers and to the University; however, participation in these discussions are completely optional (for clarity, they are NOT mandatory in order to participate in the future RFP or RFPs).

The format of these strategy discussions will be via informal, and performed via a conference call or video call (on a “1-to-1” basis between each Supplier/Manufacturers and the University). The University anticipates spending about forty-five (45) minutes on each call. The content and topics of the strategy discussions are shown in Section 3. The University is NOT requesting a formal written response to these questions or topics (as common in most RFI’s). All information will be collected via the conference call / video call.

Proponents are requested to RSVP to the RFI Contact to participate in these discussions. Please identify:

The Contacts that will be attending the discussion (Names, Job Titles or Areas of Expertise); and
The preferred date/time for the call (as shown in the table below). Due to the number of Suppliers that may RSVP, please also provide your top 3 slots that will work for your team (if the primary date/time is not available).

The University plans to conduct discussions during these dates/times (all time is local Toronto time):

            March 1 (Wednesday) 11:00a – 11:45a
            March 2 (Thursday) 9:00a - 9:45a
March 2 (Thursday) 9:45a - 10:30a
            March 6 (Monday) 9:00a - 9:45a
            March 6 (Monday) 3:15p - 4:00p
March 9 (Thursday) 9:00a - 9:45a

Please RSVP as soon as possible. Time-slots will be scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. Once your time-slot is confirmed, the University will provide a link to the conference-call or video-call.
