Description

Toronto Metropolitan University (the “University”) is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) to schedule in-person strategy discussions from interested Suppliers with experience in inspection, testing and maintenance of fire protection and life safety systems.
The intent of these discussions is to obtain feedback from Suppliers to assist the University in developing a more accurate Scope of Work and overall approach for the upcoming Request for Proposals (RFP) for inspection, testing and maintenance of fire protection and life safety systems.
The University firmly believes that participation will be mutually beneficial to both the Suppliers and to the University; however, participation in these discussions are completely optional (for clarity, they are NOT mandatory in order to participate in the future RFP or RFPs).

The Proponents shall submit all questions and inquiries regarding the RFI Documents, the RFI Process or their Proposal via email, in writing and in English to the RFI Contact listed below, no later than the time set out in the Timetable in the RFI document.

Proponents are requested to RSVP to the RFI Contact to participate in these discussions. Please identify:

The Contacts that will be attending the discussion (Names, Job Titles or Areas of Expertise); and
The preferred date/time for the call (as shown in the table below). Due to the number of Suppliers that may RSVP, please also provide your top 3 slots that will work for your team (if the primary date/time is not available).

The University plans to conduct discussions during these dates/times (all time is local Toronto time):
June 5 (Monday) 9:00a – 9:45a
June 5 (Monday) 10:00a – 10:45a
June 6 (Tuesday) 9:00a – 9:45a
June 6 (Tuesday) 10:00a – 10:45a
June 8 (Thursday) 9:00a – 9:45a
June 8 (Thursday) 10:00a – 10:45a

Please RSVP as soon as possible. Time-slots will be scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. Once your time-slot is confirmed, the University will provide a link to the conference-call or video-call.
