This Request for Proposal (“RFP”) is an invitation to prospective Suppliers to submit non-binding Proposals indicating their organization’s capability and resources in provisioning a Projection System for Faculty of Communication and Design (“FCAD”) at Ryerson University (‘Ryerson’), as further described in Section 2 – DELIVERABLES.
The Faculty of Communication and Design, and the School of Performance at Ryerson University are seeking proposals for a mobile media server and projection package. The goal is build a small but flexible media server system based on Dataton’s Watchout, as well as start an inventory of large venue projectors. This system will be used primarily for theatrical and dance performances for the School of Performance in the Ryerson Theatre (drawing attached as Appendix ‘D’), but also in other venues around the Ryerson campus, and will be used by other departments and schools within FCAD.
It is Ryerson’s intent to complete the delivery, installation and commissioning of the new projection system no later than August 18, 2017 in order to have the equipment fully operational in anticipation of the start of the academic year on September 1, 2017.
