To gain a better understanding of the existing site conditions and constraints, all Proponents are requested to attend a mandatory site visit, scheduled for the following date:
Mandatory Site Visit Date: November 1, 2023 at 10:15AM ET
Site Visit Registration date: On or before October 31, 2023 at 5:00 PM
To register for Site Visit, please email bids@torontomu.ca by referencing the RFP and including the name and email address of the individual(s) attending.
For clarity, registration is not required to attend the Site Visit; however, it does assist us in our planning.
Proponents shall perform a due diligence review in assessing, identifying, and accepting the existing site conditions prior to executing the Agreement and the Project. All drawings and information identified in this RFP, including but not limited to those provided in Appendix F are to be reviewed and site verified prior to the start of construction. The University will not accept variations of quality, budget, or schedule for a lack of awareness of existing site conditions or coordination of resources.
Please note that the Site Visit is expected to be approximately 1 hour in length.
Site Visit shall be on the University Campus, downtown Toronto.
Please meet us at the lobby of 285 Victoria Street, Toronto, M5B 1W1 (VIC Bldg.) in order to sign in with the University’s Procurement Representative.

The University reserves the right to make additional Site Visits available to potential Proponents, at the University’s sole discretion. These Site Visits, if offered, shall be communicated via future addendum.
