Description

This Advanced Contract Award Notice (“ACAN”) is an invitation to prospective Respondents to submit Statements of Capabilities for the provision of an NVIDIA Server as further described in ACAN 2023-30. This ACAN indicates to the supplier community that the University intends to award a contract for these goods to a pre-identified supplier.
The research program aims to build Carleton’s Social Media and Finance Artificial Intelligence (AI) Lab by acquiring an NVIDIA DGX A100 server. The lab will apply AI techniques to extremely large financial, social, textual, graphical, satellite, and other Big Data with the objective of developing a broader understanding of the economy and the financial system; and will allow for extensive exploratory and innovative AI research with direct applications to financial markets.
