The University of Ottawa is seeking proposals for a comprehensive Integrated Teaching and Learning Platform, and Curriculum management system. The current solution in use is nearing the end of its contractual term. Per Broader Public Standards (BPS), the University is exploring options for a best-in-class solution for its long-term requirements. The Term being sought is estimated/to be finalized but expected to be a minimum of 5 years. The extended term will be discussed in the subsequent IRFP process with the selected qualified respondents. Bid Intent is requested from serious respondents.
The successful solution must be capable of supporting the complexities of a modern medical curriculum, enhancing operational efficiency for faculty, staff, and administrators while enriching the educational experience for students, and increasing user satisfaction.
The proposal process will establish clear evaluation criteria, focusing on technical capabilities, user experience, vendor support, cost-effectiveness, and integration with existing systems. By outlining specific challenges and desired features, the Faculty of Medicine (FOM) aims to attract vendors that can provide innovative and effective solutions.
Overall, this project represents a strategic effort to enhance the educational experience for students, boost faculty members engagement by streamlining assessments and reporting, and optimize administrative processes, ensuring that the Faculty of Medicine continues to excel in providing and advancing medical education.
