Description:
Request for Expressions of Interest (“RFEI”) and Confirmation of Capabilities are being sought from consulting firms.
OCAD University and The University of Ontario Institute of Technology (the “Institutions”) are seeking expressions of interest and information for the provision of professional services relating to a strategist and innovator (“Strategist”) to develop and facilitate a process that will assist in realizing the goals of the Collaborative TechDesign Learning project.
This 2 plus-year Project, funded through a special purpose grant from the Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills Development (MAESD), ultimately seeks to leverage the strengths of each institution and create a sustainable framework of joint decision-making that the two universities would use to decide which collaborations to explore and why.
The goal of this project is to enable collaboration to be sustainable, results oriented and strategic rather than merely opportunistic. It will ensure students at both institutions can benefit from their respective niche areas of expertise to provide enhanced STEAM+D (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math + Design) learning and business skills development.
This RFEI is not a bid solicitation and a contract will not result from this RFEI. The issuance of this RFEI does not create an obligation for the Institution to issue a subsequent bid solicitation and does not bind the Institution legally or otherwise, to enter into any agreement or to accept any suggestions from any respondent. The Institution reserves the right to accept or reject any or all comments received. No special or preferential consideration in any future procurement process will be granted to any respondent. All vendors will be required to follow the procurement processes for any subsequent bidding opportunities. This RFEI does not indicate a commitment to any particular course of action.
