TENDER NOTICE
6aAddress:
OCAD University
100 McCayl Street
Toronto, Ontario
M5T 1W1
6bDescription:
OCAD University is looking to secure a two-year agreement with a Service Provider of a downtown Toronto venue for our spring convocation ceremonies. During the second week of each June, our organization holds ceremonies for hundreds of graduating students from our degree, diploma and certificate programs. Over 700 students attended our 2 convocation ceremonies in 2017, and nearly 2,000 friends and family members were on hand to celebrate with our students. In addition to the ceremonies, we also invite our students and guests to join us for food and beverages after each of the ceremonies.
The university wishes to establish an Advance Contract Award Notice (i.e. ACAN) with a suitable Service Provider to support the university’s procurement need.
An ACAN allows departments and agencies to post a notice, for no less than fifteen (15) calendar days, indicating to the supplier community that it intends to award a service contract to a pre-identified provider. If no other Service Provider submits, on or before the closing date, a Statement of Capabilities that meets the requirements set out in the ACAN, the contracting authority may then proceed with the award. However, should a Statement of Capabilities be found to meet the requirements set out in the ACAN; the contracting authority will proceed to a full tendering process.
