Background and Purpose

McMaster University invites qualified bidders to submit responses for the revision and enhancements of a mobile mental health application in accordance with the terms of this Request for Proposals.

Bidders must quote the entire bid. Partial bids will not be accepted.

Beyond Silence is a mental health mobile app designed to provide educational content and links to resources designed to support healthcare workers encountering mental health challenges. Beyond Silence 1.0 is currently available for iOS and Android use. The purpose of this project is to make changes and upgrades to the current app in order to provide peer support services as well as several enhanced app features for Beyond Silence 2.0 as described in this RFP. The current Beyond Silence app was created at McMaster University and the intellectual property resides at McMaster. Work completed as part of this project will remain with the creators of this product.

Term

The term of this agreement is for approximately one year (end date March 31, 2023). There may be an opportunity to renew for an optional additional one year period, depending on funding availability, at McMaster’s sole discretion

All Proponents must have obtained the RFP from www.Merx.com (MERX®). Failure to have obtained the RFP from MERX®. will result in disqualification.

Proposals must be submitted through McMaster University’s online Bonfire portal at:

Submissions by other methods will not be accepted.
