Description

All proponents must obtain the RFSQ from www.MERX.com, failure to obtain the RFSQ from www.MERX.com will result in disqualification.

McMaster University invites qualified bidders to submit responses for the supply of Amusement Rides and Carnival Games in accordance with the terms of this Request for Proposal.

The Office of Alumni Engagement fosters the interest and involvement of current and future alumni in McMaster University by facilitating services and programming which further the goals of the University and the McMaster Alumni Association.

As part of the annual spring academic year, McMaster University puts an evening event on campus scheduled to run on Wednesday April 10th, 2024 from 6:00pm EST and 11:00pm EST and around spring time for the following years during this term.

The entertainment act shall consist of three (3) to five (5) amusement rides and two (2) to three (3) carnival games are part of the programming for the event. The amusement rides and carnival games are to be set up on Saturday April 6th, 2024.
The Technical Standards and Safety Act https://www.tssa.org/en/amusement-devices/amusement-devices.aspx MUST be completed, be valid for 2024 business year and provided to McMaster University upon signature of agreement.
The Device Permit and Device License for 2024 season will be available for renewal 2 months before the 2023 expires as per TSSA.
The removal of the amusement rides and carnival games should be completed the day after the event on Thursday April 11th, 2024.

Bidders must quote the entire bid. Partial bids will not be accepted.
