The Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) has funded Cochrane Canada and the McMaster GRADE Centre to lead the development and dissemination of six rapid, evidence-based health guidelines and knowledge translation products on post COVID-19 condition (PCC, https://canpcc.ca/home/ ) that consider the Canadian context and both general and special populations (e.g., Indigenous peoples in Canada, racialized, children, among others).
The CAN-PCC Project Team will conduct an internal evaluation of the guideline development process and embed quality improvement and quality assurance processes into both guideline development and knowledge mobilization activities. The CAN-PCC Team will, in parallel, engage an external, third-party evaluator to conduct an evaluation of the knowledge mobilization activities and the implementation of the CAN-PCC guidelines and related tools across Canada.
The focus of the current evaluation framework is on the external, third-party evaluation of knowledge mobilization activities and the national-level impact of the six guidelines and related tools. McMaster University invites qualified Canadian bidders (located in Canada) who have demonstrated experience with national scale, complex health system evaluations and have a multi-disciplinary team that has expertise in both evaluating clinical practice and working with equity-deserving communities, ideally in Canada to submit responses for this opportunity in accordance with the terms of this Request for Proposals.
