An optional site walkthrough will be held on: May 15, 2024, at 11:00 EST.
The purpose of this site walkthrough is to view the facilities and clarify the Services requested in this RFP.
Due to limited capacity within the McMaster Nuclear Reactor (MNR) and associated nuclear research spaces, PROPONENTS AND ATTENDEES MUST REGISTER BY May 13,2024 by 16:00.
Attendees who fail to register in advance will not be permitted to participate in the optional walkthrough. Any Proponent arriving late to the site walkthrough may not be able to sign the sign-in sheet
TO REGISTER:
- Provide confirmation of attendance electronically through the Vendor Discussions tab under the Messages section within the Bonfire project web portal, (refer to Section 4.6 below for further details).
- Only one (1) representative from an organization may attend; provide the representative’s contact information.
- Confirmation of registration will be sent back with a walkthrough time slot and additional instructions.
MEETING LOCATION:
Proponents are requested to meet at the south entrance lobby of the Nuclear Research Building (NRB), located at the southeast corner of the building, directly across from the John Hodgins Engineering building receiving area.

WALKTHROUGH PREPARATIONS:
All Proponents and attendees will adhere to the following MNR instructions:
All workers will be required to follow building access and health and safety rules and requirements during the execution of the work.
Failure to comply with any of the above requirements will result in the denial of access to work site.
- Valid government issued photo id must be presented.
- Sign in sheet must be signed before entering the reactor.
- Closed toe shoes must be worn at all times.
- No shorts, skirts or dresses are allowed in the reactor.
