The following summarizes briefly the library renovation of level 500;
Project
Name: James A. Gibson Library located in the Arthur Schmon Tower;
Program: Interior redevelopment of part of Level 500;
Site Location: 1812 Sir Isaac Brock Way, St. Catharines, Ontario
Project Size: Approx. 3570 sq.ft.
Approximate Construction Costs: $250,000

Currently, level 500 has been used for the display and storage of collections. The renovation project is to upgrade this space to create formal and informal spaces for group study and research, consisting of a full range of program space and amenities.

The Library renovations are to be fully constructed and completed for occupancy by the end of January, 2018. Thus, the construction of the project must start on Monday, December 11th 2017 and be completed by Friday, January 26th 2018 to ensure full occupancy and full operation for the 2nd Term of the Academic year.
