This Invitation to Tender (“ITT”) is an invitation by the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board (the “District”), on behalf of le Conseil des ecoles publiques de l’Est de l’Ontario (CEPEO), the Ottawa Catholic School Board (OCSB), and itself, collectively referred to as the “Purchaser”, is seeking a discount off catalogue/website list prices for the supply and delivery of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematic (STEM) supplies and equipment for elementary level students on a standing agreement “as and when required” basis. Vendors are able to bid on all or any of the above listed categories.
Annual purchases of STEM supplies and equipment for the four (4) Boards from September 2016 to August 2017 was in the region of $200,000 with participation from approximately three hundred and twenty (320) sites with approximately 150,000 students. This amount is not representative of any guaranteed future volume of business and is provided for information only. The payment for the goods provided under the contract shall be based on the actual quantity of goods ordered and received, pursuant to the contract.
It is the District’s intention to enter into the Agreement with one or more legal entities. The contract shall commence upon award and shall terminate 31 December 2018. The District may extend this contract for a further two (2) one-year terms by mutual agreement with the selected bidder(s) two (2) months prior to the termination of the existing contract.
