This Request for Proposal (“RFP”) is an invitation by the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board (the “District”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the provision of grass cutting / trimming and lawn preparation services, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”).
The Ottawa-Carleton District School Board (OCDSB) is the largest school board in Eastern Ontario serving students within a 2,760 square kilometre area known as the city of Ottawa. We are the seventh largest board by school population in the province of Ontario. Our students are based out of 143 schools - 113 elementary including two special education sites, 25 secondary including the Adult High School, and 5 secondary alternate sites.
Only those proponents that have registered and received a copy of this proposal document through the District’s Supply Chain Management Division shall have their proposals considered.
It is the District’s intention to enter into the Agreement with more than one (1) legal entity. The contract shall commence 1 May 2018 and shall terminate 30 April 2019. The District may extend this contract for a further two (2) one-year terms by mutual agreement with the Contractor two (2) months prior to the termination of the existing contract.
