This Invitation to Tender (“ITT”) is an invitation by the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board (the “District”), on behalf of the Ottawa Catholic School Board (the “OCSB”) and itself, herein collectively referred to as the “Purchaser”, to prospective bidders to submit bids for the provision of custodial equipment, as further described in Section A of the ITT Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”).
MERX is the official and sole distributor of this Invitation to Tender and any addenda. Copies of this Invitation to Tender are available at www.merx.com. If a bidder obtains this document by means other than through MERX, the accuracy of the document and receipt of any addenda is the sole responsibility of the bidder. The District relies on the electronic MERX advertisement to provide public notice of this business opportunity and is not obligated to notify past or present suppliers in any other manner.
Standing Agreement: A standing agreement contract will allow the Purchaser to purchase frequently ordered goods and/or services from the Contractor(s) at predetermined prices, under set terms and conditions, as and when requested. No contract exists until the Purchaser issues a call-up against the standing agreement. There is no commitment to purchase any of the goods and/or services contained in the standing agreement until such time as a duly authorized call-up is made.
