Description

Project Description
This RFP is issued by Colliers Project Leaders Inc. acting on behalf of the Client. The Client is seeking to retain an Architect as Prime Consultant for a new building for the Northern College B-Wing Redevelopment. Background The intent of this Project is the redevelopment of the existing B-Wing component to the Northern College Timmins Campus. The current (existing) B-Wing represents the original structure of the Timmins Campus complex and was intended as a temporary facility when originally constructed in 1971, and intended to be demolished when the permanent structure was constructed in 1973. The B-Wing structure is comprised of a series of pre-engineered steel structures and has undergone several renovations over the life cycle of the college. This wing of the college has exceeded its original design life expectancy and no longer meets the needs or the infrastructure standards of the college. Future improvements and capital investment have been deemed unfeasible. As a result, Northern College proposes that the location of the current B-Wing be redeveloped in its entirety to serve current and potential future academic, administrative and program needs.
This RFP seeks an Architect as Prime Consultant that can provide the Architect’s Services included in this RFP.
