The Nipissing-Parry Sound Catholic District School Board wishes to provide notice of the current tendering for Our Lady of Sorrows School, Sturgeon Falls, ON – Ventilation Upgrade.
The scope of work is generally as follows. This description is a summary and not exhaustive; refer to the contract documents for all required work:
· Removal or replacement of existing ductwork, diffusers, grilles, etc.
· Install four new rooftop energy recovery ventilators (ERV’s), including indoor and outdoor ductwork and
accessories, diffusers and grilles, insulation, controls, etc.
· Provide gas piping and connections to new ERVs.
· Remove or replace existing roof mounted exhaust fans.
· Provide new indoor exhaust fan, ductwork, louvre, etc.
· Replace existing return air grilles.
· Testing, adjusting and balancing of new systems and existing exhaust streams.
· Roofing work at curbs, infill of roof openings, etc.
· Electrical work required to support mechanical upgrades, including providing a new panel and power feeds
to ERVs, exhaust fans, etc.
· Structural work required to support mechanical upgrades, including infill of roof openings, reinforcement at
ERVs, etc.
· Remove all designated substances within areas of work. Follow ministry guidelines. Hire services of certified
designated substance removal company. Refer to Designated Substance Survey.
Bid Documents will be available in electronic .pdf format on Tuesday, April 20th, 2021 after 2:00:00 pm. An on-site non-mandatory Bidder’s Briefing is scheduled for Wednesday, April 28th, 2021 at 3:30 p.m.

To be considered, offers must be submitted on official tender forms and will be received by the Owner, Nipissing-Parry Sound Catholic District School Board, 1000 High Street, North Bay, Ontario, P1B 6S6, attention: Mr. DanRusso, Sr. Manager of Plant Services and Health and Safety, prior to the closing date and time as per therequirements of the Bid Documents.
Submissions received after the closing deadline will not be accepted. Fax or e-mail submissions will not beaccepted. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all submissions, and/or cancel or withdraw this request forany reason without liability for any costs or damages incurred by respondents including without limitation, anyexpenses incurred in the preparation of the submission.
