16043 - Holy Cross Elementary School Roof Replacement and Building Envelope Upgrades

The scope of work for this project includes but is not limited to:

•  Removal of all existing PVC roof systems to existing wood roof deck complete with associated parapet cap flashings, counter flashings, existing roof access hatch and all other incidentals as required to accommodate new work.
• Removal of existing upper level exterior wall construction and window units.
• Provide new exterior wall construction including framing, sub-girts, spray foam insulation, thermal batt insulation, transition membranes, metal flashings and preformed metal cladding.
• Provide new aluminum window units complete with insulating glass units or insulated aluminum panels.
• Construct new insulated parapets as required to accommodate increased thickness of new roof insulation.
• Provide new PVC roof system, incorporating both mechanically fastened and fully adhered components, complete with a thirty (30) year manufacturer’s systems warranty, including tapered insulation, new roof drains and prefinished metal parapet cap flashing, fascia and finishing construction.
• Provide new roof access hatch complete with safety rail.
• All work associated with modifications to existing rain water piping and other existing mechanical and electrical incidentals as required to accommodate new roof systems work, including any hazardous materials abatement and / or repairs to existing finishes as may be required.
• Mechanical and electrical work as required to remove, reinstate and make operational four (4) existing fan units c/w associated ductwork in the Gymnasium or replacement as may be required.
