Work under this contract is to address leakage at the cladding eyebrow of the curtain wall at the Walker Advanced Manufacturing Innovation Centre (WAMIC) building at the Welland Campus of Niagara College Canada. A small section of repair work had been previously completed and the College would like to move forward with the remainder of the repair work required at the upper and lower curtain wall eyebrow.
Access: Provide access to all exterior walls at all exterior cladding areas to the extent shown on the Drawings, and as required to facilitate the performance and inspection of the work described herein. This shall include all related equipment, safety supervision, engineering, etc.
Exterior Construction Barrier: Supply, install and maintain a portable chain link fence construction barrier around the exterior work area at all times, including to protect against unauthorized access.
Grade Level Protection: Provide overhead protection at all building entrances/exits and all emergency and service routes.
Traffic Flow: Access for vehicle and pedestrian traffic, emergency routes, and parking in areas not affected by the work must be maintained at all times. Supply, install and maintain traffic lights, signage, mirrors, and flags-people as necessary to ensure smooth traffic flow.
