2017-37 - Residence Renovation - Welland Campus

Niagara College, (the “College”) is seeking bid submissions from qualified contractors to refurbish nine (9) rooms at the Welland Campus Residence Building.  To eliminate the condensation problem within the first floor rooms the washroom exhaust fans will be replaced with a larger fan unit and the chilled water piping will be insulated through the block wall and floor penetrations.  We will also be replacing the old flex ducting suppling the bed rooms, painting all the rooms, replacing the flooring and washroom suspended ceiling and repairing all drywall and drywall bulkheads removed to provide access to the child water piping.

Drawings and specifications have been included for your reference as Appendix A and B to this Request For Bids.   The College reserves the right to add, remove, or modify the scope of work as appropriate.
Work for this contract is to commence immediately upon notification of award approximately the week of June 19, 2017.  
Throughout the duration of the Project the Successful Respondent shall attend routine site meetings and progress meetings with the Niagara College Contact Person or Designate(s) to provide updates and review performance related issues.
