Description

Niagara College of Applied Arts & Technology, (the “College”), is seeking a Service Provider to perform Annual and Semi Annual Inspections, Testing and Maintenance of Fire Alarm Systems (the “Services”) at all Niagara College campuses. The Services shall include Annual Inspections, Testing and Maintenance of Fire Alarms and Sprinklers Systems and Semi-Annual Inspections, Testing and Maintenance of Kitchen Hood Suppression and Computer/Server Room Novec Suppression Systems. The Annual Services will be scheduled in August and the Semi-Annual Services shall be scheduled in August and February and will be coordinated with each campus’ Manager, Facilities Management Services (FMS). These inspections will be completed during night shift hours (between 11:00pm and 7:00am). Additional routine inspections, testing or maintenance may be requested by the College during the year. The College may require emergency or urgent response and services or may request other similar services to those described herein during the Term of the Agreement.
Objectives of the Services include:

Comply with applicable sections of the Ontario Fire Code and CAN/ULC-S536-04, “Inspection and Testing of Fire Alarm Systems”, and;
Minimize fire alarm system equipment failures and maintenance repairs between annual inspections.
