Request for Prequalification (RFPQ) To establish a Source List (SL) for Personnel Agencies for Museum Specialists
The Museum is seeking Proposals from potential firms who have managerial and technical experience in providing professional services for collections and information management, conservation and artefact display preparation for exhibits in Gatineau, Quebec and Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. This is a one-step two-envelope submission process (Technical and Financial) to select the overall highest ranked Proponent(s) who may then be invited to be included on a Source List (SL) for eventual work required either at the Canadian Museum of History (CMH) building, located at 100 Laurier, Gatineau, Quebec, or the Canadian War Museum (CWM) located at 1, Vimy Place, Ottawa, Ontario..
The objective of this RFPQ is to prequalify two (2) Contractors who will be placed on an SL to provide services on an “as and when required” basis for a period of three (3) years from the date of establishment.
If mutually agreeable between the Contractor(s) and the Museum, this SL may be extended for up to two (2) additional one-year periods with the same terms and conditions
The selected Contractor will be required to deliver the Services described in the procurement documents including, but not limited to, the following stream:

- Collections and information management;
- Conservation;
- Artefact display preparation for exhibits.
To be considered, Proposals must be received before the Closing Date and Time noted in the MERX ad through the MERX Electronic Bid Submission System. Refer to the Instructions to Proponents for all associated details.
Information provided by the Proponents will be evaluated using the established criteria in the RFPQ. The criteria relate to previous achievements and experience, as well as technical and managerial expertise.
Firms that consider themselves qualified to provide these services are invited to submit their Proposals on the forms that are available through MERX or as directed in the procurement documents.
The Museum retains the right to negotiate with the Proponents on any aspect of the procurement.
Proposals may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
Proponents can obtain the award result once posted on MERX.
