Request for Proposals (RFP) for Security Guard Services
The Canadian Museum of History (the Museum) is inviting qualified firms to provide Security Guard Services. This is a one-step two envelope process (Technical and Financial) to select the highest ranked firm who may then be invited to enter into an Agreement with the Museum.
The selected Proponent will be required to deliver the Services described in the procurement documents.
To be considered, Proposals must be received at the address noted above, or as requested in the RFP documents, before the closing date and time noted in the MERX ad; refer to the RFP documents for further details.
Information provided by the Proponents will be evaluated using the established criteria in the RFP. The criteria relate to previous achievements and experience, as well as technical and managerial expertise.
The Security Requirements for this project are identified in the RFP documents.

It is anticipated that the contract will be in place for a duration of 3 years from the date of award with the possibility of extending for one (1) additional two (2) year period, and then two (2) additional one (1) year periods. Refer to the procurement documents for further details.
Firms that consider themselves qualified to provide these services are invited to submit their Proposals on the forms that are available through MERX or as directed in the procurement documents.
The Museum retains the right to negotiate with the Proponents on any aspect of the procurement.
Proposals may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
